The Suns are asking the Bucks for Malcolm Brogdon in exchange for Eric Bledsoe (The Score).

Phoenix is now transitioning into aggressive mode in order to trade Eric Bledsoe and move on. If you want to acquire a two-way star shooting guard, you have to give up pieces, right? of course.
The Suns asking for Malcolm Brogdon is 100% fair for Eric Bledsoe. Malcolm Brogdon is a very nice player, he is currently averaging 16 PPG, 3.7 APG, & 1.3 RPG. Brogdon is very young, and a good defensive player.
But, Eric Bledsoe is way more valuable to a potential Bucks playoff run. In the past couple of years, the position in basketball that has been at a premium is two way shooting guards. Bledsoe is going to give you a solid 20 PPG, 5 RPG & 6 APG. Scoring aside, Bledsoe will be able to guard elite wing players.
Bledsoe can be matched up on Kyrie, Isaiah Thomas (once he’s healthy), Kyle Lowry, Demar DeRozan, etc. Bledsoe can also shoot the ball, the Bucks don’t have a ton of 3 point shooting assassins. They need to be able to spread the ball around the Greek Freak.
Brogdon is a very nice player, drafted in the second round. He became a very valuable asset for basically nothing, and now the Bucks could cash in and flip him for Bledsoe. I would imagine that the Suns would ask for a pick, so those logistics need to be worked out. But, with Brogdon highlighting the deal for Bledsoe – it is a logical request.
