Coming Off A Career Night, We Are Reminded Once Again That DeMarcus Cousins Is The Best Center In The League

Absolute monster in his return to Sacramento. 41 points, 23 rebounds and even added 6 assists to ensure what we already know. DeMarcus Cousins is the best center in the league – yes, we know that center’s are certainly at a premium, just like shooting guards.

But, Cousins has consistently averaged 20+ PPG and 11+ REB per game. If you disagree, let’s look at some other center’s that can compete. DeAndre Jordan, Hassan Whiteside, Karl-Anthony Towns, Marc Gasol, Rudy Gobert, etc.

DeAndre can’t do anything on offense outside of the lob – Gasol can’t rebound enough – Whiteside isn’t close yet offensively – Towns is still too young, but on the way – and Gobert isn’t mature enough yet on offense.

Cousins gives you the best of everything as a center, dominates the boards, scores in the paint at an elite level, protects the rim and shuts down your best big. He also added the 3 point range in recent years, he is stronger than every center, passes well, and rarely gets hurt. I wouldn’t see why their would be disagreement, but just in case, the verdict has been given.
