The Milwaukee Bucks came into tonight’s contest having won their only two road games of the season (in Boston and then in Atlanta). Unfortunately that streak was snapped, as the Bucks fell 126-121 to the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets were looking for a bit of revenge tonight after October 23rd’s 104-93 defeat in Milwaukee. After getting absolutely pants-ed by the Oklahoma City Thunder last night, the Bucks came out of the gates displaying a short memory; the end result being a franchise record 19 three-pointers.

What a win for the Hornets last night, they shut down the Greek Freak and came back to beat the Bucks. Since this season has started, many teams have fired up the hype train including the Magic. But, we forget the Charlotte Hornets have been playing well and have started the season 5-3.

Kemba Walker has been a big reason for their success averaging 24.6 PPG, 3.6 RPG & 6.0 APG. To support Walker, Dwight Howard has started out on fire with Charlotte, averaging 14.1 PPG and 14.4 RPG. Jeremy Lamb has started out this season averaging 17 PPG and 5.1 RPG.

The Hornets suffered the loss of Nic Batum before the season, players like Lamb, Frank Kaminsky, and Malik Monk have stepped up in his place. With Batum’s all around game being fine tuned, everything is only going to flow easier when he returns in late November.

The Hornets are deep at every position, play good defense, pass well, have a solid PG, protect the rim, and they are almost at full strength. This Hornets team can certainly hang, they will be competing for a playoff run.
