Blake Griffin Knee Injury Update

Blake Griffin left the game early due to an injury to his knee, while the Clippers played against the Los Angeles Lakers. This was a result from a collision between Austin Rivers and Lonzo Ball in the 2nd half of the game, and Rivers landed on Griffin’s knee awkwardly.

Woj reported that Griffin has an MCL sprain and could possibly miss up to 2 months.

The Clippers are in dire need of their superstar, and this may be the end of their season already.

Clippers forwards Wesley Johnson and Sam Dekker will see heavy minutes until Griffin is back.

The bright side is that SF/PF Danilo Gallinari is expected back in the next week or two from his strained glute injury.

It will be interesting to see how the Clippers play without their star players for a good portion of the season.
