The Portland Trailblazers have reportedly gained interest in acquiring DeAndre Jordan from the Los Angeles Clippers (via Shams). The Portland Trail Blazers have now joined the list of teams interested in acquiring a center before the trade deadline on February 8th. In order for Portland to make a package that would be enough for the Clippers to let go of DeAndre without them having to giving up their star backcourt then Nurkic, rookie Zach Collins and a draft pick would most likely have to be involved. Thanks to the ESPN NBA Trade Machine we created a likely possibility of a trade that could happen that could benefit both teams in the future.
If a trade of this sorts were to happen it would also be likely that the Trail Blazers would have to give up a pick as well. That means for the Clippers, their future would depend a lot on staying healthy, keeping players like: Blake, Lou Williams, Nurkic and the development of their younger players such as Evans, Thornwell, and Collins. For Portland, DeAndre Jordan could benefit greatly, but would most likely not be enough for this team to make it out of the star studded Western Conference.
