Isaiah Thomas Made His Debut for the Lakers

As we all know, Isaiah Thomas’ time with the Cavs did not go the way anyone imagined. After having high hopes for a Finals run, the experiment lasted no more than fifteen games because of lack of chemistry between IT and the rest of the Cavs roster. Due to these circumstances, Thomas found himself traded to The Lakers along with Channing Frye in exchange for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.

Last night when The Lakers faced the Dallas Mavericks in Dallas, Isaiah Thomas made his debut for his new team, and looked quite comfortable. Although it was discussed he will be a starter, Luke Walton decides to have him come off the bench while IT adjusts to his new role on his new team. He actually played very well in his first game, netting 22 points and 6 assists in 31 minutes of action.

After receiving a lot of criticism from fans and media, Isaiah Thomas appears very comfortable with his new team. And although The Lakers didn’t come out on top in this game, they should be very excited about the addition of Thomas and should look forward to what he brings to the team did the rest of the season.
