So far, the Sixers look like a bonafide threat in the East. The way the Sixers were put together, it has propelled them to look like a conference finals team. With the sharpshooters Reddick and Belinelli, it helps the Sixers spread the floor so players like Simmons and Saric to operate better. Right now, Embiid has been cleared by the medical team to play, but will not play in Game 2. The Sixers still have the slight edge because of their versatile forwards and guards. It is difficult for Whiteside and Olynk to switch out to Simmons on pick and rolls without picking up fouls that hurt the Heat chances still. I believe that the Sixers will win 4-1 this series and move on to the semi-finals in the Eastern Conference, but this all depends on when and how Embiid plays moving forward after today.
