Chris Vernon of The Ringer recently reported on a podcast that the New York Knicks were “out” on PG Frank Ntilikina, who has shown no progression and hope for the team in the future. After the first 23 games, Ntilikina has averaged 5.9 PPG and 2.7 assists, shooting 33% from the field.
A team that has shown interest in Ntilikina is the Orlando Magic, who sent a scout out to Philadelphia to watch him play when the Knicks took on the 76ers on Wednesday. If none of these players are included in the trade, adding Ntilikina to a lineup that features Mo Bamba, Jonathan Issac, and Aaron Gordon would turn this team into one of the tallest in the league. Hopefully, this trade gives Ntilikina the fresh start he needs to get back on track.
