It is safe to say the Oklahoma City Thunder have kicked it into high gear. A team who started off rough due to injuries is now flying high in the Western Conference of the NBA, sitting at just 1 game back from the first seed look for OKC to make a huge push for the top
The Thunder’s core of PG13, Brodie, and Adams have definitely been making noise as a unit lately in the NBA. Paul George has been putting up MVP caliber stats while picking up the slack from other OKC players whether it is in game or because of injury issues. Russell Westbrook who began the season slowly because of his injury has been very sufficient as of late, and Steven Adams has been an absolute menace in the paint.
OKC is currently riding a three-game win streak, and their last two wins have been very impressive with amazing statistics. They beat the Bulls on Monday by 25 points. On Wednesday night the Thunder’s core had a stat stuffed night in a win against Sacramento. Russ showed everyone why he is Mr. Triple-Double with a 19 pts/17ast/11reb night. While PG-13 had 43 points and 12 rebounds, and Steven Adams had a nice 20 points and 23 rebounds.
