Breaking news this morning from the Washington Wizards. The Wizards PG John Wall will be out for 12 months after rupturing his left Achilles. The All-Star guard was already out for the season after sustaining a heel injury which required immediate surgery earlier in the season, and now it looks like the Wizards will have to go another season without him.

Wall who was already recovering from the previous injury was hit with an infection in the incision from the first surgery. He sustained this rupture in his Achilles from slipping and falling in his home, which leaves us to question what he was even doing to suffer this injury that will sideline him another season.

However, the Wizards still have to pay Wall for the next 4 seasons which totals out to $171 million. Wall had signed a max contract extension two summers ago and it will definitely pay off with him being out. Next season Wall will make $38.2 million just recovering at home or on the sideline in Washington.
